Born in Michigan on a military base, my family resided in Germany and Oklahoma, before settling permanently in Illinois. Despite being in a military family during my early childhood, I spent most of my life here as an Illinois girl! I completed my Bachelors at Northern Illinois University in 2012 and have recently moved to Niles with my fiancé in 2016. I have spent time working at a cat and dog boarding facility and then as a veterinary assistant at another animal hospital before landing at Niles Animal Hospital. I grew up with dogs and have even spent time as a volunteer foster with a Rescue to reduce euthanasia rates at a high kill rate animal shelter. In helping one of my rescue dogs Ava recover from heartworm, I realized a career in animal care was right up my alley. Living at home in Niles, I not only have my dogs, but also gerbils, hamsters, and birds while also fostering dogs with my fiancé! I believe working at Niles Animal Hospital gives me a great opportunity to work with a passionate team who seeks to serve the local community in promoting and maintaining your animals’ health.
