Veterinarian, DVM
Dr. Cho was born in Seoul, South Korea but grew up in the United States since he was 4 years old. His love for animals started by watching nature documentaries on animal planet and discovery channel when he was a kid. Growing up he was inspired by Steve Irwin to get into a career involving animals in high school.
After Dr. Cho finished high school, he went to the University of Illinois at Chicago for his bachelor in Liberal Arts & Sciences and during that time he realized that he wanted to be a veterinarian. After undergrad, Dr. Cho went to Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in St. Kitts and Nevis and finished his clinical year and Louisiana State University. While on St. Kitts, he volunteered for the St. Kitts Sea Turtle Monitoring Network to catch sea turtles for research, and did an externships in South Africa to learn about wildlife medicine. During his time in Louisiana he completed two externships at the National Aquarium and at the Columbus Zoo to learn more about treating exotic animals.
He loves all animals but have a special interest for exotic animals and wildlife. Dr. Cho is aiming to become a veterinarian that specializes in exotic medicine. His hobbies include: reading, traveling, scuba diving, learning foreign languages, playing video games and watching movies and anime.
