One of the best things you can do for your pet is to keep them healthy. Bringing your pet in for regular examinations and vaccinations is of the easiest and least expensive ways to ensure their health. Dogs and cats (and other pets) age far faster than people, so significant changes in your pet’s health can happen in a short time.
Wellness programs allow us to diagnose diseases and conditions early, when they are easier to treat or manage. Often, we can help prevent diseases entirely, just by ensuring that your pet has received appropriate vaccinations and preventives. We recommend that healthy adult dogs and cats visit us at least once a year, preferably twice a year for wellness check-ups. Puppies, kittens, senior pets, and pets with health issues or illnesses need more frequent checkups.
We have developed dog and cat wellness plans for the various stages of a pet’s life, puppy/kitten, dental, adult, and senior plans are available. These plans include examinations, diagnostic and disease testing, as well as other preventative protocols customized for your pet’s stage in life. Puppy and kitten plans can be selected that also include neutering/spaying.
There are many benefits for the health of your pet provided by these wellness plans. Other advantages include significant savings in the cost of the various procedures/tests when your pet is in a wellness plan compared to regular charges. Another huge advantage is that the cost of the wellness plan is spread out over a twelve month period, allowing better budgeting of funds and less of a financial hit if everything was to be paid for when services were rendered.
