In the unfortunate circumstance that your pet may pass away at home and you would like to know why, we conduct complete necropsy (necropsy in pets, autopsy in humans) procedures. Many times the cause is apparent but sometimes samples may have to be taken and submitted to an outside laboratory to complete the diagnostic process. Specialty clinics and university-affiliated referral centers have specialized equipment to perform procedures that are not routinely performed by general veterinary practitioners.
